NEWS STORY : Candidates Announced for the By-Election in Masham and Fountains Ward of North Yorkshire County Council
STORY
The two candidates for the Masham and Fountains by-election to be held on 9 February 2023 have been announced. They are Felicity Cunliffe-Lister (Lady Masham) who will be standing for the Liberal Democrats and Brooke Victoria Hull who is standing for the Conservative Party. Margaret Atkinson had been a councillor for nine years, was the chair of the council at her death and would have been the last to hold the role as the council is merging with others on 1 April 2023 to become the North Yorkshire Council.
