Norfolk and served as Parliamentary private secretary to the Minister of Production. He also acted as chairman of the Conservative committee on the future constitution of Burma, and as vice-chairman of the Imperial Affairs Committee in the House. He is on the executive of the United Nations Association and is chairman of its National Appeal Committee.
