Mr. C. J. Taylor is a director of a Carlisle firm of manufacturing chemists, and a member of the Supervisory Staffs’, Executives’, and Technicians’ Union. He has been a Labour member of the Carlisle City Council since 1945, and is chairman of the Housing Management Committee.
