BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. John Foot, a Plymouth solicitor and a son of Mr. Isaac Foot, a former M.P. for Bodmin. He was born in 1909, and graduated in law at Oxford, where he was president of the Union in 1931. During the war, he served as a major with the Wessex Division. He has contested three elections.
