Sally-Ann Hart – 2022 Comments on Rishi Sunak Becoming Prime Minister

The comments made by Sally-Ann Hart, the Conservative MP for Hastings and Rye, on Twitter on 22 October 2022.

MPs and members of the Party need to support someone with experience as well as sensible, someone who is not marmite, someone who is decent with compassion, intelligence and integrity, someone who is used to being on the frontline in incredibly stressful situations.

We have not got the time to allow someone to find their feet. We need someone who can hit the ground running. That someone is Rishi Sunak and I am supporting him.
