    The detail requested is not held centrally by this Department. However the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) collect, annually, from the individual library authorities comprehensive information relating to library service provision in the United Kingdom, which includes data relating to the questions raised. Copies of CIPFA statistics are available in the House Library.

    The UK is committed to ensuring all children, with a focus on the most marginalised and those with disabilities have access to education institutions and complete a full cycle of quality education. We are working with partners, such as UNICEF and UNESCO Institute for Statistics, to improve data for monitoring purposes.

    The Government expects retailers covered by the charge to deduct reasonable costs from the revenue raised and use the remaining part for good causes. VAT will be included in the 5p charge.

    No profits generated from this charge goes to the Government.

    The Department does not hold information relating to the recovery of payments from National Health Service staff made redundant and subsequently re-employed by an NHS organisation.

    This information will be held locally by NHS organisations.

    The NHS is set to save £5.5 billion this Parliament and £1.5 billion each year thereafter, reducing unnecessary bureaucracy and freeing up extra resources for patient care.
