    The department is engaged in frequent discussions with Chief Pleas and a wide range of stakeholders with an interest in the jurisdiction of Sark (which includes the island of Brecqhou). The UK Government has urged all with an interest in Sark’s future to engage positively with its elected government, which is responsible for the island’s economic strategy, and we encourage the government of Sark to make the best possible use of the practical help and support which continues to be offered by the UK Government and other ‘Friends of Sark’ (which includes Alderney, Guernsey, the Isle of Man and Jersey).

    The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency is working with other groups to promote the risk-reducing benefits of dose banding.

    NHS England, through its Medicines Optimisation Clinical Reference Group work programme, is working with key stakeholders to identify/agree national standard dose bands for chemotherapy. A national Commissioning for Quality and Innovation goal has been agreed to support the implementation of the dose bands during 2017-18.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will make it his policy to extend the meningitis B vaccination programme to all infants.

    National immunisation programmes are introduced on the advice of the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI), the independent expert body that advises the Government on all immunisation matters. Following JCVI’s recommendation, we introduced a Meningococcal B (MenB) infant programme.

    Since September 2015, all infants aged two months have been offered the MenB vaccine, followed by a second dose at four months and a booster at 12 months.

    We are proud to have been the first country in the world to introduce a national, publicly-funded MenB immunisation programme for infants using the Bexsero vaccine.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what steps his Department is taking to support the provision of adult social care in the Stockport local authority area.

    The Government is providing a package of support – worth up to £3.5 billion a year by 2019-20 – to ensure councils are able to support some of their older and most vulnerable residents. This includes an extra £1.5 billion through the improved Better Care Fund, which will continue to bring together funding and services across health and social care to support the provision of integrated care for older and vulnerable people. Councils will also have the additional freedom to introduce a social care precept onto council tax bills, which will raise up to £2 billion. This year alone, Stockport will raise an additional £2,534,000 through the social care precept and receive £21,276,000 through the Better Care Fund.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, how much has been contributed by energy suppliers towards the rebate on electricity bills under the Warm Home Discount Scheme in each year since 2010.

    From 2011 to 2015, energy suppliers spent a total of £868m on electricity bill rebates under the Core and Broader Group elements of the Warm Home Discount. The annual breakdown is set out below.

    We expect that at least £286m has been spent by suppliers on direct rebates in 2015/16.

    From 2011 to 2015, households have also received other assistance through the Warm Home Discount to the value of £264m.

    Government announced in the Spending Review in November 2015 that the Warm Home Discount scheme would be extended to 2020/21 at current levels of £320m per year, rising with inflation, to help households who are at risk of fuel poverty with their energy bills.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, how many additional staff have been deployed to the UK’s mission to the UN in Geneva to work on World Trade Organisation (WTO) policy and to renegotiate the UK’s membership of the WTO since the EU referendum.

    A Deputy Permanent Representative to cover the WTO is being appointed. Further decisions will be taken in due course to provide the additional staff required in Geneva to work on the UK’s evolving status in the WTO, and in the longer term to cover all WTO business.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what discussions his Department had with UK steelmakers before the decision was made to use French steel in the construction of Trident successor submarines.

    The management of the steel procurement process for the Successor Programme is the responsibility of the Prime Contractor, BAE Systems. The Ministry of Defence’s involvement with suppliers was limited to conducting a technical assessment during the tendering process to ensure bids met specifications.

    The tendering process was progressed and concluded by the Prime Contractor, no viable UK bid was received for this part of the Successor submarine manufacture. Other stages of construction will include grades of steel manufactured by British suppliers and I encourage them to take the opportunity to bid.

    Overall, 85% of BAE System’s supply chain for the new submarines is based in the UK.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what recent discussions he has had with his counterparts in the devolved administrations on the implementation of the Rare Disease Strategy.

    The implementation of the UK Rare Disease Strategy is monitored by the UK Rare Disease Forum which includes representatives from all the devolved administrations. The Forum will publish their first assessment of the progress made in implementing the UK Rare Disease Strategy at the end of February 2016.

    The Rare Diseases Advisory Group (RDAG) makes recommendations to NHS England and the devolved administrations of NHS Scotland, NHS Wales and NHS Northern Ireland on developing and implementing the strategy for rare diseases and highly specialised services. The membership of RDAG also includes representation from the devolved administrations – NHS Scotland, NHS Wales and NHS Northern Ireland.
