BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. C. Brooman-White is a journalist and took an honours degree in economics and modern languages at Cambridge. He served in the war and was promoted to lieutenant-colonel. A former secretary to Sir Archibald Cochrane, Unionist M.P. for Dunbartonshire, of which Mr. Brooman-White is a native, he was for a year in the diplomatic service at the British Embassy in Turkey.
