BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. I. Winterbottom was special assistant to Lord Pakenham at the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Born in 1913 and educated at Charterhouse and Clare College, Cambridge, he has worked in a textile finishing undertaking in Manchester and Germany and was personal staff officer to the regional commissioner, Hamburg, in the Control Commission. He is a councillor for Thrapston and Oundle.
