    We do not know whether Government was involved in drafting the legal agreement itself – this could only be determined at disproportionate cost – but the Government was involved in the development of, and preparatory work leading to, the transfer to Old Ford Housing Association.

    The Government has not estimated what proportion of businesses have reported so far.

    We published guidance in October 2015 advising that businesses should report as soon as reasonably practicable after their financial year end, which in practice should mean within six months of an organisation’s financial year end.

    The Cabinet Office is not forecasting any underspend against departmental expenditure limits in the current fiscal year. There was no underspend forecast at the time of the Summer Budget 2015 or the March Budget 2015 either.

    The Department’s latest forecast of total annually managed expenditure is £5 million, in line with the budget for 2015-16.

    The government keeps all tax and welfare policies under review. HM Treasury does not at present have any plans to produce or publish any research on or assessment of basic income schemes.

    The information requested is not held centrally. The Legal Aid Agency (LAA) does not identify or record in its databases whether civil legal aid applicants are prisoners as this does not affect eligibility for legal aid funding.

    As the Chancellor announced at the Spending Review no Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) will receive a reduction in cash funding if they choose to maximise their precept over the Spending Review period.

    It is an operational decision for chief officers, working with their PCC, to determine how best to allocate their available resources taking into account local and national priorities.
