To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many freedom of information requests were (a) granted and (b) refused by her Department in each of the last five years.

The Ministry of Justice publishes annual statistical reports on the handling of requests for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for central government. These reports include statistics on the numbers of requests granted in full and those where information was partially or fully withheld. To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what assessment he has made of the effect of the proposed public sector exit payments cap on the flexibility of academy chains to restructure their workforce.

Voluntary redundancy and workforce restructuring is not contingent upon access to six-figure exit payments. As such, we do not expect the cap to have a widespread impact on the take-up of voluntary redundancy, and believe the cap will enable public sector employers to retain the tools to effectively make organisational changes to their workforce whilst offering those made redundant generous provisions for loss of employment.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment her Department has made of the number of people aged under 18 who travelled to parts of Syria and Iraq controlled by IS/Daesh in each of the last two years.

We believe approximately 800 UK linked individuals of national security concern have travelled to take part in the Syrian conflict since it began. Of those who are known to have travelled, about half have returned. This number will include some individuals who were under 18 at the point of travel.

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate his Department has made of the average increase in rail fares over the last five years; and if he will make a statement.

All fares increased on average by 5% in real terms between 2010 and 2015, compared to 11.3% between 2005 to 2010.

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what assessment his Department has made of trends in home ownership since 2010.

The number of first time buyers has increased by 59% since the low of 2009, and home ownership has risen for the first time since 2003.

In the last year alone there has been a 25 per cent increase in the number of new homes, with government schemes helping over 290,000 people own a home of their own since 2010.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what funding her Department has allocated to fund support for victims of domestic abuse in each of the next five years; and if she will make a statement.

The Government is providing £80 million of dedicated central government funding over the course of this Parliament to tackle violence against women and girls. In 2016/17 the Home Office will continue to fund a network of Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVAs), Independent Sexual Violence Advisers (ISVAs) and Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) co-ordinators. We will continue to fund national helplines until 2020.

From April 2017 until 2020, local domestic abuse service provision will be supported through a new Home Office VAWG Service Transformation Fund, as part of the £80 million of dedicated funding. Full details of the how the fund will be administered and the criteria for applications will be published in due course.

To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what estimate he has made of the total cost to his Department of taxi journeys made by (a) Ministers, (b) special advisers and (c) officials of his Department in each of the last five years.

Ministers, special advisers and civil servants in this department undertake a variety of visits to support the delivery of Government’s objectives and other departmental business. Travel and subsistence costs are published annually in the departmental accounts. We do not hold figures for the estimated costs for taxi journeys undertaken, broken down in the format requested and this can only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
