It was confirmed by the Irish Free State that Liam Lynch, the leader of the Irregulars, had died.

Six executions took place at Tuam Barracks of members of the Irregulars.

The talks to bring the strike of builders to a settlement collapsed.

The Speaker of the House of Commons adjourned proceedings in the House following a dispute between the Government and the Opposition, with Labour members singing the Red Flag.
