    To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many people have been resettled in the UK under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation scheme since its launch; and how many people are expected to arrive in the UK under that scheme by December 2014.

    To date 50 Syrians have arrived in the UK under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Relocation scheme.

    The scheme is based on need, rather than designed to meet set arrival projections. However, we will continue to bring groups here on a regular basis, and envisage that several hundred people will be helped over the next three years.

    The ‘Creating the Conditions for Integration’ paper sets out the Government’s approach to achieving a more integrated society, for everyone of faith and of no faith to live and work successfully alongside each other. In September 2012 my rt. hon. Friend the Prime Minister appointed my noble Friend, Baroness Warsi as Minister for Faith and Communities. Along with colleagues, such as myself, the Minister has worked closely with faith and non-faith groups on an approach to integration.

    The number of offenders found guilty at all courts of the listed offences related to the Licensing Act 2003, in England and Wales, from 2009 to 2013, alongside the number of offenders given the maximum allowable sentence, can be viewed in the table.

    I regularly engage with my Baltic counterparts, including through EU and NATO meetings. I visited Latvia and Lithuania in September 2013; and I intend to visit the region again in the very near future.

    In December 2013 I visited Estonia where I signed the General Defence Engagement Memorandum of Understanding between our two countries.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will publish (a) details and (b) results of focus groups with parents, young people and employers about the behaviour and attitudes of novice drivers.

    The number of young people being killed on our roads is far too high and we are determined to tackle this issue. It is an issue which, understandably, features prominently in the range of representations which we receive about road safety generally.

    As part of our consideration of the way forward, we met the insurance industry on 27 January 2014 to discuss novice drivers and, in particular, our proposed research into the role which telematics can play in changing the behaviours and attitudes of new drivers. My officials regularly talk to the insurance industry and current discussions are aimed at encouraging participation in the research project before we can get it underway. We will publish the results of the research when they are available.

    We will also publish the findings of the focus groups comprising parents, young people and employers which we undertook in order to get a better understanding of the issues from their perspective.

    The supplier obligation will raise funds to cover all liabilities under all Contracts for Difference (CfDs), including nuclear ones. All licensed suppliers in Great Britain and Northern Ireland will be obliged to pay the supplier obligation in due course.
