Labour retained Holborn and St Pancras at the parliamentary by-election held on Thursday 8 October 2026. Sagal Abdi-Wali was elected as the constituency’s new Member of Parliament after receiving 12,292 votes.

The by-election followed the resignation of former Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, who had represented the constituency since 2015. Labour has held Holborn and St Pancras since the constituency was created in 1983.

Labour hold Sagal Abdi-Wali elected with a majority of 3,364 over Green Party leader Zack Polanski.
