To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what estimate his Department has made of the cost to the public purse of ticket barriers at stations in London being left open.

Ticket gates barriers are operated and provided by a number of different operating companies at national rail stations, Docklands Light Railway, TfL Overground and tube stations across London. No such estimate has been made across all stations in London.
