Aaron Bell – 2022 Comments on the Resignation of Liz Truss

The comments made by Aaron Bell, the Conservative MP for Newcastle-under-Lyme, on Twitter on 20 October 2022.

I am currently in a debate about levelling up, but have just seen that the PM has resigned. A successor will be elected within a week.

These are very difficult times nationally and internationally. Those of us in Westminster must work together and put the national interest first.
