BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. Duchin, a solicitor, aged 40, was educated at St. Paul’s School and Brasenose College, Oxford. He was formerly treasurer of the Haldane Society, and is now a member of the Association of Labour Lawyers. At one time he was on Holborn Borough Council. Since 1936 he has assisted in poor man’s lawyer centres at Barking and Westminster, and is hon. solicitor to the Jewish Refugees Committee. He is a specialist on the law relating to aliens.
