BIOGRAPHY :

Dr. Genevieve Rewcastle was the first woman doctor in the Royal Navy, and was Medical Superintendent of the W.R.N.S. from 1939 to 1946. She now specializes in diseases of women and children. From 1934 to 1938 she was president of the Catholic Women’s League, and in 1945-47 chairman of the Nationa Board of Catholic Women. A member of Westminster City Council, she is also on the L.C.C. Housing Committee.
