BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. Briscoe, a Londoner, aged 34, is education secretary to Plymouth Co-operative Society. He has been an organizer for the National Council of Labour Colleges and has been lecturer for the Co-operative Union at summer schools. Born in 1914, he went to a secondary school and Oriel College, Oxford, and holds an Oxford University diploma for economics and political science.
