Mr. H. J. Delargy sat for the Platting Division of Manchester in the last Parliament. Educated in France and Italy, he has been in turn a teacher in a private school, a journalist, a canvasser, and a labourer. In five years’ service with the Royal Artillery he began in the ranks and ended as a staff captain at General Eisenhower’s headquarters. He is 41.
