Mr. O. Smedley started work as a stores clerk in a Paris factory and is now partner in a firm of chartered accountants. A Rugby player and Belsize Club boxer, he served with the Royal Artillery through the war in the Middle East and Sicily, and landed in Normandy on D Day. He was twice wounded and won the M.C.
