BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Percy Morris, who won the seat from a Liberal National candidate in 1945, has been a railway clerk and was Deputy Regional Commissioner for Civil Defence from 1941 to 1945. He is a member of Swansea Borough Council, and since 1930 has been a member of the executive committee of the Railway Clerks’ Association. He was born in 1893, and is interested in transport and local government questions.
