BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. D. Abel, secretary of the Free Trade Union, holds several offices in the Liberal Party organization, including membership of the party council and of the executive of Home Counties Liberal Federation. He is author of “A History of British Tariffs, 1923-42,” and of many articles in periodicals. Born in 1918, he was educated at the London School of Economics and London University.
