Mr. J. Jenkins, a Dumfriesshire farmer, is 31 and was educated at Winchester. He is chairman of the local N.F.U. branch, a director of agricultural companies and of the Dumfriesshire Cattle Breeders’ Association, and an executive committee member of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers’ Clubs.
