BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. D. W. T. Bruce entered Parliament as member for the north division of Portsmouth in 1945 and served as Parliamentary private secretary to Mr. A. Bevan. He was also a member of the royal dockyards, finance and blitzed cities groups of the Parliamentary Labour Party. Born in 1912, he is a chartered accountant. A major in the 1939-45 war he was a member of General Eisenhower’s staff at Supreme Headquarters.
