Mr. K. H. B. Major, aged 30, of West Country stock, was educated in London and at the Sir John Cass Technical College, and is an industrial chemist and engineer, working as a consultant and in an advisory capacity for various business organizations. During the war he served in the Royal Air Force as a navigator and an airfield controller.
