BIOGRAPHY :

Maj. Gwilym Lloyd-George, a son of the late Earl Lloyd-George, has, except for the period 1924-29, represented the constituency since 1922. He was Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Trade in 1931 and in ]939 to 1941, and Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food in 1941-42. From then until the General Election of 1945 he was Minister of Fuel and Power. He was born in 1894 and educated at Eastbourne College and Jesus College, Cambridge.
