Mr. V. M. Shaw aged 29, is president of the Scottish executive of the British Export Trade Research Organization. He served as a captain with The King’s Own Scottish Borderers during the war and acted as liaison officer for the United States Army Air Force. He got his half-blue for golf at Oxford University, where he was an honours graduate in philosophy, politics, and economics.
