BIOGRAPHY :

Sir A. U. M. Hudson is 52, and was M.P. for East Islington 1922-23 and for North Hackney 1924-45. He held officers an Assistant Conservative Whip and afterwards as Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport. He was Civil Lord of the Admiralty from 1939 to 1942 and Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Fuel and Power in the ” caretaker ” Government. He is a director of a firm of publishers of trade ?nd technical journals and treasurer of the National Association for the Prevention of Tuberculosis. He was created a. baronet in 1942.
