BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. Edgar Granville was elected for Eye in 1929 as a Liberal; returned as a Liberal National in 1935, he became an Independent in 1942, but rejoined the Liberal Party in 1945. He served in the 1914-18 war with the Australian Imperial force, and between 1939 and 1945 he helped to raise the 119th Suffolk Battery, R.A., with which he served as a captain.
