BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. David Hardman, appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Education in October, 1945, is aged 48. At Cambridge he held various offices in the University Union and Labour Federation. For 20 years before entering Parliament he was engaged in adult education, and was secretary of Cambridge University Extra-Mural Board. He is a member of Cambridge borough and county councils. He has led delegations to various Unesco conferences.
