BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. W. Alexander, born in 1910, is an organizer for the Communist Party and a member of the national executive council. He fought for two years with the International Brigade in Spain, commanding a British battalion for nearly a year. In the last war he served for five years in the Royal Armoured Corps in North Africa, Italy and Germany, holding the rank of captain.
