    To ask the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, how many full-time equivalent officials were employed in his predecessor’s renegotiation of the UK’s relationship with the EU in 2015-16; and if he will estimate the total cost to the public purse of that renegotiation process.

    All departments were equipped with the resources they needed to manage the renegotiation of the UK’s relationship with the EU in 2015-16. As a new department we do not hold data on staffing within other departments during that process or the estimated costs.

This is a transferred matter and is therefore the responsibility of Northern Ireland Executive Ministers.

    The Home Office does not hold data centrally on the number of arrests made in establishments operating under a premises licence or under a club premises certificate, or the number of arrests under the Licensing Act 2003.

    The Home Office collects data on the number of arrests broken down by offence group and police force area. This data cannot be broken down to the level of detail requested.

    104 graduates began the programme in the first cohort (2014), followed by 124 graduates in the second cohort (2015). Enrolment for the third cohort is not yet complete, however Frontline aim to recruit up to 180 participants to start in 2016.

    In May 2014, the Department published updated requirements (Procedures for the Approval of Independent Sector Places for the Termination of Pregnancy (Abortion)) which the providers of independent sector abortion services must agree to comply with to be approved by the Secretary of State to perform abortions. This includes the requirement to have in place procedures and protocols to deal with emergencies and the transfer to specialist services. A copy of the guidance is attached.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what financial resources are available to schools from (a) her Department and (b) local authorities for the installation of automatic fire sprinklers.

    The Government will invest £23 billion in the school estate over this Parliament to create additional places and for essential maintenance, rebuilding and refurbishment. Within this, there is no ring-fenced funding dedicated to the installation of sprinklers in schools, but where it is concluded that sprinklers must be fitted to protect property or keep children safe, they will be. Their cost will be included in the overall funding for the project.
