    To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many employment and support allowance claimants telephoned 0843 515 8650 in the first quarter of 2014; what the average cost of such calls has been to claimants; and what the average length of each such call has been.

    DWP does not operate any telephone lines starting 0843, and therefore receives no revenue from 0843 515 8650.

    Similarly, DWP is unable to provide any information on the number of employment and support allowance claimants who call 0843 515 8650

    To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what discussions his Department has had with bidders for the Northern Rail franchise covering the Colne to Blackpool South service via Preston on the replacement of Pacer trains with rolling stock that has not previously been used on London Underground.

    The Department has held discussions with bidders for the Northern franchise to discuss and receive feedback on a range of specification areas, including rolling stock and the intended service specifications across the new franchise.

    The Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) publishes young participation rates by parliamentary constituency. These show the proportion of young people in each parliamentary constituency who entered higher education by the age of 19, for each cohort of 18 year olds between 1998 and 2011.     maintaining the list of religious buildings registered for marriage.

    The number of cancellations made for registered buildings for 2012 was 211,
    2013 – 180 and for 2014 (up to 25 June) is 106.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what guidance he has given education authorities, free schools and academies on maternity pay for staff transferring schools during pregnancy.

    Maternity Pay arrangements for most teachers transferring schools are set out in ‘Conditions of Service for School Teachers in England and Wales’ and wider employment legislation. Similar arrangements are determined by the ‘National Agreement on Pay and Conditions of Service’ for school support staff employed by local authorities. Academies and free schools are not bound by these arrangements but are free to adopt them for their staff if they choose to do so.

    As at 31 January 2015, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) employed a total of 2044 staff within its Preston Tax Credit Office site. This is expected to increase by about 350 in 2016 and 2017.
