    Following the highly successful events to mark the 70th anniversary of D Day, planning to mark the end of the second world war will be progressed in the coming months. The crucial contribution that women made to the War, both at home and overseas, will be a significant element of these commemorations.

    The NSPCC’s FGM helpline received 174 contacts between its launch in June 2013 and 28 February 2014. Of this number, 75 have been referred on to the relevant police force. There were 35 contacts from professionals seeking advice on the correct procedures to follow in regard to a child at risk of FGM. The other 64 contacts were more general enquiries relating to FGM.

    The Chief Secretary to the Treasury notified the Northern Ireland Minister for Finance and Personnel on 31 March that the Northern Ireland Executive’s funding allocations would be reduced by £13m, £87 m and £114 m in 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16 respectively.

    To ask Her Majesty’s Government what assessment they have made of the time taken for the United Kingdom economy to return to recovery in comparison to other leading countries; and what they consider to be the reasons for the differences in those timescales.

    UK GDP fell 7.2% between the first quarter of 2008 and the third quarter of 2009. Of the G7 economies Japan was the only one that had a deeper recession, and the depth of UK recession was almost twice that of the US.

    Thanks to the government’s long term economic plan, since the trough of the recession the UK has grown faster than France, Italy, Spain and the euro area as a whole. In the year to the first quarter of 2014 the UK grew faster than any other G7 economy, the deficit has fallen by over a third as a share of GDP since 2009-10 and there are more people in work than ever before. But the job is not yet done and the biggest risk now to the recovery would be abandoning the plan that is delivering a brighter economic future.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, how many and what proportion of (a) magistrates’ courts, (b) County courts and (c) County Court money claims centres use higher-rate telephone numbers.

    The information held centrally on how many and what proportion of (a) magistrates’ courts, (b) County courts and (c) County Court money claims centres use higher-rate telephone numbers is as follows:

    (a) Magistrates’ courts: 33 out of 330 courts

    (b) County Courts: 17 out of 216 courts

    (c) The County Court Bulk Centre in Northampton which centrally

    manages money claims, also uses higher rate telephone numbers.

    Some of the individual numbers are used for more than one court.

    As stated in previous answers to parliamentary questions, the Department’s approach is not to use 084 or 087 for non-geographic numbers and instead, wherever possible, to assign 0300 numbers, for which the tariff is similar to calling an 01 or 02 (geographic) number, whether the caller is using a fixed line or a mobile phone —see: http://www.publications.parliament.uk/pa/cm201213/cmhansrd/cm130423/text/130423w0004.htm#130423w0004. htm_wqn27

    To ask Her Majesty’s Government what action they are taking in respect of the proposed reduction in service at the Cannock Chase Minor Injuries Unit.

    The reconfiguration of local health services is a matter for the National Health Service. All service changes should be led by clinicians and be in the best interests of patients, not driven from the top down.

    We are aware that local general practitioners in Cannock Chase Clinical Commissioning Group are currently developing proposals for the future configuration of the Cannock Chase Minor Injuries Unit. Any proposed service redesign would be subject to public consultation in due course. No decisions on the future of the unit have been made yet.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what steps he is taking to promote small business entrepreneurial skills for people who are currently unemployed.

    The Government is keen to promote and provide support to help people start and build their own business. One of the ways we are doing this is through the New Enterprise Allowance (NEA).

    The NEA provides access to business mentoring and financial support for people on benefits interested in starting up their own business. The financial support consists of a weekly allowance payable over 26 week’s worth up to £1,274. If participants need start-up capital they may also apply for an unsecured loan through the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills start-up loan scheme.

    So far 32,520 businesses have been created and 56,700 claimants have started working with a mentor.

    We announced in the Autumn Statement our intention to extend the scheme through to 2015/16.
