NEWS STORY : Kate Green Steps Down from Parliament to Secure Deputy Mayor of Manchester Role

STORY

Kate Green, the Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston, has stood down from Parliament after being nominated as the Deputy Mayor of Manchester. A by-election will now be held in the constituency, which Green has held since 2010 and where she won with a majority of  16,417 at the 2019 General Election.
