A 24-year-old Afghan man is due to appear before Manchester Crown Court on 25 August 2026 after being charged in connection with the reported rape of a 17-year-old girl in Manchester city centre. Greater Manchester Police confirmed the charges following an investigation into an incident that occurred in the early hours of last month.
