To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how much time someone enrolled on the new enterprise allowance spends with a mentor.

The pre-start-up mentoring phase on the New Enterprise Allowance usually lasts for 8 weeks, although this can be extended to 12 in exceptional circumstances.
Post-start up mentoring support is also available throughout the first six months of trading.

The costs of the Sorting out Separation web app are £417.5k to date. This includes initial build, maintenance and development, hosting and promotion. It also includes the costs of the development of the diagnosis tool and the videos hosted on Sorting out Separation.
The Department is in the process of considering the future direction of the Sorting out Separation web app and will shortly be taking steps to improve the profile of the app through search engine optimisation.

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what recent discussions his Department has had with the Scottish Government on the payment of armed forces pensions in the event of Scottish independence.

Armed Forces pensions are currently uprated annually in April using the Consumer Price Index (CPI) figure from the previous September. These are occupational pensions and are therefore paid, including any CPI increase, to scheme members wherever they reside in the world.
The UK Government is confident that the people of Scotland will continue to support remaining within the UK. There have, therefore, been no discussions with the Scottish Government about this matter.

Pensioners who are entitled to State Pension Credit may receive an additional element called Support for Mortgage Interest. This makes a contribution towards the interest on eligible loans taken out to purchase the property, and specific loans for repairs and improvements which are necessary to maintain the home’s fitness for habitation
