    Part time students studying for a second degree in subjects allied to medicine; biological sciences; veterinary sciences, agriculture and related subjects; physical sciences; and mathematical sciences will be eligible for a tuition fee loan from the 2017/18 academic year. These are in addition to the exemption for part time technology, computer science and engineering degrees introduced in 2015/16.     To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to the contribution of the Minister of State in his Department, the hon. Member for Scarborough and Whitby, on 23 March 2016, Official Report, column 1657, what the value is of the funding that has been made available for the initial feasibility work for the preparation of an outline masterplan for Euston Station; which agency is expected to lead that work; and when he expects that work to be completed.

    The design for HS2 is for one integrated HS2 station at Euston, which will be delivered in two stages (A and B1) to ensure a roll-out of passenger benefits in 2026 and again in 2033 as the Phase 1 and Phase 2 HS2 services are delivered​.

    Both the Department and Network Rail are committed to exploring how the ‘classic’ mainline station (Stage B2) might be integrated with the new HS2 station and potential Crossrail 2 station in the future, as part of a ‘masterplan’ for the Euston Station site. The Department, Network Rail and HS2 Ltd are currently working together to produce a plan to progress the initial feasibility and business case work needed for this project over the next two years, which will include the timing, resource required, and estimated cost.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Education, how much was spent on (a) local authority and (b) non-local authority residential care provision per week and per child in each local authority in the latest year for which figures are available.

    Local authorities submit annual outturn statements to the Secretary of State for Education on actual expenditure for their education and children’s social care functions.

    The most recent outturn figures can be found on GOV.UK[1]. The file named “S251 outturn 2014 to 2015: individual LA expenditure data” enables reported annual expenditure by each local authority to be viewed at an individual local authority level. There is a distinct line for residential care.

    The information on residential care spend is attached.

    Total annual spend by each local authority is broken down to show spend on:

    • Own provision
    • Private provision
    • Other public provision (this includes other local authorities); and
    • And voluntary sector provision.

    It is not possible to measure spend on provision within each local authority. This is because the location of the provision provided is not captured in the section 251 financial return.

    Until the UK leaves the EU, it is expected to remain a full member with all relevant rights and obligations. The Department for Business, Energy, and Industrial Strategy will continue to work closely with stakeholders and the rest of Government during our negotiations to exit the EU to deliver energy which is secure, affordable and clean.

    To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills, what guidance his Department gives to apprenticeship providers on supporting apprentices with dyslexia.

    Apprenticeships are covered by the Equality Act 2010, therefore employers and providers are required to make reasonable adjustments. Assessment centres (for example colleges) are responsible for ensuring that they understand and apply access arrangements.

    Ofqual provides guidance for awarding organisations in England on reasonable adjustment. The Joint Council of Qualifications publishes arrangements annually on special considerations and adjustments. The current version has a number of examples of how to apply arrangements to learners with dyslexia.

    The Education and Training Foundation provides guidance for training providers, including advice on supporting apprentices with dyslexia. This can be found in the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) section of the Excellence Gateway on the Education and Training Foundation website http://send.excellencegateway.org.uk/.

    To ask Her Majesty’s Government (1) how many prison staff, and (2) what proportion of prison staff, have received Prevent awareness training for each (a) prison, and (b) young offender institution.

    The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) has a range of Prevent awareness training and briefing packages available for staff. Since April 2015 data has been collated recording the amount of training provided to staff in prisons and probation on extremism awareness.

    Between April 2015 and September 2015, 4,100 hours of training were delivered to over 4,900 staff in prisons directly managed by NOMS. The training is targeted at staff in prisoner facing roles. A further 650 staff from contracted establishments have also received training during this period. There figures do not include any staff trained before April 2015.

    Since April 2015 new Prison Officers receive Extremism Awareness Training as part of their entry level training, a total of 1,566 since this date.

    Some of the training sessions described above were delivered to staff from more than one prison and therefore to provide information on proportions of staff trained from each establishment would involve disproportionate cost.

    The Prime Minister’s office is an integral part of the Cabinet Office.

    No staff receive a home to work travel allowance or a car allowance. Health insurance is not a benefit offered to staff however, due to a TUPE transfer where Cabinet Office brought staff in from the private sector there a smaller number of staff able to claim subsidised health insurance.
