To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of the crime rate in Morecambe and Lunesdale in (a) 2015-16 and (b) 2014-15; and if she will make a statement.

The Crime Survey statistics published by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that crime in England and Wales fell by 7% in the year to the end of December 2015 (the latest period for which data is available), and by 7% in the year to the end of December 2014. Over the same period, the number of crimes recorded by the police rose (including in the Lancaster Community Safety Partnership area, which covers Morecombe and Lunesdale). ONS have been clear that rises in police recorded crime are largely the result of more victims coming forward to report certain offences and improvements in police crime recording practices.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what recent assessment she has made of the operation of the fair funding formula for schools; and when she expects the latest revision to that formula to be implemented.

The first stage of a two-part consultation for national funding formulae for schools and high needs closed on 17 April. We are currently considering the responses. We will publish the second stage of the consultation later this year, alongside the government’s response to the first stage of the consultation. This second stage will set out the detailed design of the formulas, and will provide illustrative allocations for all schools and areas.
We have proposed to introduce the new national funding formulae from 2017-18.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, pursuant to the Answer of 25 April 2016 to Question 34792, how the £4 million allocation from LIBOR fines that have been allocated for mental health support is being divided between emergency services; and what proportion of that funding will be allocated to (a) firefighters, (b) police officers and staff and (c) paramedics and ambulance staff.

The LIBOR funding allocated to support emergency services staff and volunteers was allocated to a variety of charities covering all the emergency services. The Police and Fire Service treatment and rehabilitation centres and the Air Ambulance Services Charity are among the charities in receipt of LIBOR funding and they support retired as well as serving personnel. Information is not held centrally on proportions of funding allocated to each emergency service or to retired emergency services workers.

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many Tier 2 visas have been issued for pharmacists in each of the last three years.

The figures below show the number of Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS) assigned in support of visa applications for Pharmacists in each of the last three years. A Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) is required to support all visa applications and a sponsor is required to enter a Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code on their CoS. There is a SoC code for Pharmacists.
Assigning a CoS does not guarantee a visa will be issued.
