To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what role clinical commissioning groups have in the prevention of HIV transmission.

Local authorities are responsible for commissioning HIV prevention. Clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) are responsible for HIV testing when clinically indicated in CCG-commissioned services (including accident and emergency and other hospital departments).

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what preventative programmes, other than for HIV prevention, are funded by Public Health England.

Public Health England (PHE) distributes the public health grant to local authorities; the grant funds a number of prevention programmes including NHS Health Checks, the national child measurement programme and sexual health services. PHE also provides social marketing campaigns such as Be Clear on Cancer, Stoptober and Act FAST.
In addition PHE provides advice and evidence to local authorities and NHS England on what works best, including providing expert advice on the diabetes prevention programme.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many patients with a diagnosis of autism have been held on mental health wards in each of the last three years because they could not get a suitable living placement; and how many of those patients were (a) children and (b) adults.

While peaceful protest is a vital part of our democratic society, there is a balance to be struck between the rights of those who wish to peacefully protest and the rights of others, such as clinic staff and patients, to go about their business free from harassment and intimidation.
The law provides protection against harassment and intimidation and the police have a range of powers to manage protests. The use of these powers are an operational matter for the police.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what recent representations he has received on reforming the law on surrogacy.

A search of the Department’s central correspondence system shows that, since November 2015, the Department has received 31 representations that made direct or indirect reference to reforming the law on surrogacy. I have also answered four Parliamentary Questions in this session about this issue.
The Government has no current plans to change the legislation in respect of surrogacy arrangements.

To ask the Secretary of State for Health, what the ratio of GPs to residents is in (a) Rugby constituency and (b) England.

The ratio of general practitioners (GPs) to residents in Rugby constituency is not collected; however, the ratio of GPs to residents in the Coventry and Rugby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is 65.6 GPs (excluding Registrars and Retainers) per 100,000 Office fpr National Statistics (ONS) resident population.
The Health and Social Care Information Centre publish an annual General and Personal Medical Services workforce census. In the last census as at 30 September 2014, there were 66.5 GPs (excluding Registrars and Retainers) per 100,000 ONS resident population in England. Data for 2015 will be published on 27 April.
