BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. J. Evans is a school teacher. When he left school at 14 he worked in one of the anthracite mines in South Wales. After four years of soldiering he returned to his former occupation, and then gained admission to a training college where he qualified as a school teacher. He has been associated with the administration of the Co-operative Society for many years. He is a former president of the Llanelly Divisional Labour Party. He lives in Carmarthenshire.
