BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. R. P. Dutt, vice-chairman and founder member of the Communist Party in Britain, has played a prominent part in its central leadership since 1922. He is one of the foremost English-speaking exponents of Marxism. He was expelled from Oxford University, where he was a Balliol scholar, in 1917 for international socialist activities. He is a journalist and author.
