BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. H. R. Adams, aged 38, attended the London School of Economics and took a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He has been an advertising and sales executive, and Assistant Commissioner for National Savings. In 1945 he won the Balham and?Tooting division, which disappeared in the redistribution. He was appointed an assistant Government whip in i?47, and a Lord Commissioner of the ireasury in 1949. He served as a tank officer in North Africa and Italy during the fa,r. and later as staff officer, Land Forces, Adriatic.
