BIOGRAPHY :

Mrs. Xenia Field, a journalist and playwright, was born in 1894, and educated at Ascot and in Paris. She studied economics, was a member of the L.C.C. from 1946 to last year, and is a member of the London executive council under the National Health Scheme. During the war she served at the Ministry of Supply, and has served on a Home Office advisory committee on the treatment of offenders.
