BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. L. H. Wharrad was born in 1911 and is organization adviser to the Raw Cotton Commission. He is chairman of the Bromley Fabian Society, and contested the Bromley Borough Council elections in 1947. During the war he served in the R.A.F. and rose to the rank of wing commander.
