BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. W. S. Wainwright, a chartered accountant, was born in Leeds in 1918, and lives in Pudsey. He was educated at Shrewsbury and Cambridge University, he was president of the University Liberal Club in 1939, and has latterly been vice-chairman of Leeds Young Liberals’ Federation. Brought up as a Quaker, he is now a Methodist local preacher.
