Mr. A. C. Cann, a commercial traveller in canned goods and food, was born in Plymouth in 1902 and educated there. He has been active in local government affairs. A convert from the Conservative Party, he is chairman of Falmouth and Camborne Liberal Association, and an amateur actor and playwright.
