BIOGRAPHY :

Mrs. P. G. Spencer is the wife of Mr. C. G. Spencer, the National Liberal and Conservative candidate for Barnsley. A housewife, living in the division, she is 38 years of age and was trained in public affairs at the London School of Economics. At one time she was organizing secretary of the women’s branch of the City of London Conservative Association. During the war she was engaged in work for prisoners of war. She is an officer of the British Red Cross Society.
