BIOGRAPHY :

Mr. E. A. B. Fletcher, born in 1911, contested Macclesfield unsuccessfully in 1945. At present an export manager in the textile industry and commanding a Leicestershire Territorial regiment, he served during the late war with the Royal Horse Artillery in the Middle East, Italy and Austria. He has been chairman of the National League of Young Liberals and president of the Lancashire and Cheshire Young Liberals.
